Hello! My name is Marybeth. Myself, a small group of volunteers, and the SPCA in Fiji are organizing a desperately needed 10-day spay and neuter clinic in Fiji, April 17-28, 2012.
While most Fijians are kind and loving towards their pets, 25% of Fiji’s population lives below the poverty line and many people simply cannot afford to feed their dogs let alone pay for spaying and neutering them. As a result, there are hundreds of dogs that end up starved, neglected, poisoned or injured and the local volunteer-run SPCA in Suva is overwhelmed with dogs in need.
For only $20 you can sponsor one spay or neuter and be responsible for stopping the reproduction of potentially hundreds of unwanted puppies headed for a life of suffering & hardship.
